The piece translates the concept of the fingerprint portrait to the
public space. The technical infrastructure of our constructed
environment, power and water lines, and sewage systems remain invisible
as long as they are intact and in working order – thanks to uncountable
individuals who maintain and repair these urban supply lines in the
underground. This series seeks to show appreciation for these
individuals in the form of fingerprint portraits.
